2018 Year In Review

There were a lot of bright moments during the 2018 season for the club. Many goals were scored and a lot of quality performances, both individually and collectively throughout the club. Listed below are the eleven First Team ALL -FCRB Selections:

1) Reide Scolaro-GK ('06) : Impressed between the sticks, many big saves and has a bright future in goal.

2) Caleb Tedesco-RB ('03): The most improved player in the club. Became a trustworthy defender for Coach Matt. Couldn't pick a team without him.

3) Evan DeBerjeois-RCB ('05): Arguably the best defender in the club and in the area for his age group. Always led by example and found ways to get the occasional goal from centerback.

4) Zach Shufelt-LCB('03): Was the leader of the '03 defense. Became a great organizer for his side.

5) Bobby Sweeney-LB ('06): A very versatile and fast player. Became a shutdown marking back for the Coach Perek. When a player became a problem for us defensively, Bobby was sent to shut things down.

6) Max Newman-CDM ('03): The string puller for the midfield of the 2003 side. He was the heart of the engine room, ran the show and scored important goals.

7) Artie Paul-RM ('03): Had a very solid season. Scored some sensational goals and showed a high level of consistency.

8) Joe Federico-LM ('05): Took over the midfield for Coach Ken's side. Showed up in big matches and became a real presence for the club in pressure moments.

9) Gagan Ahdikari-CF ('06): The clubs top scorer in 2018 with 19 goals. Gifted, had a great ability to beat defenders and find the net!

10) Uttam Bhattarai-CAM ('03): The creative spark for the 2003s. At times was completely unplayable, he just couldn't be stopped. When he gets like that, you just sit back and watch.

11) Aidan Howard-CM ('06): The heart and soul of the 2006 side. Drove the team forward and held it all together when things got tough. The classic box to box midfielder.

2018 was a great year for the club but signs are 2019 are going to be even better. Can't wait to see how the boys grow and reach new levels in the new year. FORZA ROSSONERI!!
